Subject: Your stupid waste of my time!
I think that your website is an insult to my intelligence and a complete waste of my time! I can't even see any sense in it or any purpose whatsoever! Am I missing something; or are you?

Subject: My Favorite - Sheeba Savory Duck
I love to eat the duck type of cat food. With real beef gravy. YUM! Plus, Sheeba doesn't use those sharp can lids that the other cat food companies use. Stay away from the dry cat food, though. Tastes like the cereal LIFE.

Subject: In desperate need!
I've been eating cat food since I was seven years old. In the beginning it was only part time, but after years of addiction I think my cat food eating has gone too far. I hide cat food on the job. I bring cat food everywhere I go, I need cat food. I even had to leave early from a birthday party because they didn't have my favorite cat food. Do you know where I can find any cat food anonymous meetings, I'm fed up with cat food. That you for your help. In desperate need.

Subject: Thanks!
I just about fell out of my chair laughing...my cats were near me when I parsed your page and I happened to have the speakers on...well you can just imagine what my cats did when they heard the sound of you opening the can of cat food...both of them rushed out of the room to look for my husband. I needed a good laugh and I just wanted to thank you for providing it.

Subject: I'm not a cat, but I wish I was!
When I was really short, I went through a phase where I pretended to be a cat. I went around on all fours, meowing a lot, and eating catfood. I think it was Friskies, but it was a long time ago. Not bad stuff. Kinda reminded me of that all natural nuts & twigs cereals my mother eats. I still meow, but I prefer walking upright and eating a greater variety of food. I'm not a cat, but I wish I was.

Subject: Finished with that sandwich?
I like Pounce Tartar Control - Keeps Fangs Clean! What a funny page! Mabel (my cat) & I enjoyed it immensely (Mabel wants to know if you're going to finish that sandwich...) Being a cat lover I had to see for myself. Irreverent, and very clever!

Subject: Eggs in a cats' diet
I have one reservation about the diet recommended for cats - it prob. isn't a good idea not to mention that if cats are fed eggs very often, the eggs ought to be cooked as the whites are more easily digested that way. Egg white contains avidin which binds biotin (a B vitamin), interfering w/its absorption in the gut. Cats may safely have raw egg yolks but raw egg whites should be fed only infrequently. Otherwise, a very fun page and I'll remember it the next time I'm trying to think of something different in a midnite snack.

Subject: Moop is very polite.
I have 2 cats, and sometimes they eat better than I do. One's 18, one's 5, both pretend to be pigs, but I know they're cats. My 18 year old, Moop, loves chicken. One day I made dinner (roast chicken, potatoes & gravy), and sat down to eat. I was home alone at the time. Suddenly I felt someone tapping my shoulder and nearly jumped out of my skin. Moop had jumped into the chair behind me and was just reminding me not to forget him. He was very polite as he knows he's not allowed on the table. RE: cat food stories - I got a million of 'em, but I'll only let you suffer with this one. (P.S.: both my cats love Doritos, do yours?)

Subject: Meat loaf for dinner.
Found your page while cruising the web for employment in Houston. What a great chuckle! Check your guest book though...you know those flat heads in College Station will try anything once! It would be really nice if you could come up with some recipes that aren't quite so expensive. In Denton, Fancy Feast is about 50 cents a can. Thats $3.00 for the meat loaf! I'll work on some recipes here in my kitchen and E you later. PS my husband thought your sense of humor was SICK! He's having meat loaf for dinner? Will he eat it?????????

Subject: Super Bowl Party Snacks
We're having some friends over to watch the Superbowl so I'm going to make some cat food bean dip and cat food tacos for the party. I know everybody will love it.

Webmaster's note: If you're going to Paul's Superbowl party -- *Bon Apetit*!

Subject: Why, tell me why!?
I found this site through a link from Short Attention Span webpage. No humorous cat food stories, but I am curious as to why my cat would never eat canned cat food when I bought it for her, but when "Grandpa" (my father) feeds it to her, she licks the plate clean.

Subject: Insomniac surfer
I'm an insomniac whose cats always wake me up at three in the morning and there I am, wide awake and surfing the net. My doctor told me to keep the cats out of my room but I just can't go to sleep without loud purring noises. Anyway, to make a short story longer, often while wide awake and surfing I fall across sites that I don't remember how I got there. I guess this one can be credited to Tatianna, my fat Russian Blue.

Subject: Abiko is especially dextrous
*My* cats' favorite food is plastic bags: grocery bags, newspaper wrappers, you name it. They eat the stuff and barf it all over the place. When we succeed in hiding all the plastic, Jethra is like a drug addict without a fix. But they really do eat the Hills stuff (and it's exempt from sales tax, cause it's medicine!). Of course, they prefer Savory Salmon Feast (they get some of that, too). Abiko is especially dextrous, and will spent hours picking up one dry kibble in her paw and bring it to her mouth one after another. Abiko has *lynx tips* on her ears.

Subject: A sad story.
This is a sad story about cat food eaters. My uncle Al ate catfood for many years. One morning he was out on the driveway licking his privates and my aunt backed the car over him making him dead.

Subject: "Chum Connoisseurs"
Thank you for the cat food recipes. My brother-in-law and I once fed a dog food stew (Chum) to some hungry fisherman on a camping trip in Tasmania. We thought this was hilarious, however they failed to see the funny side and we were lucky to escape alive. This was three years ago and none of the "chum connoisseurs" have spoken to either of us since. I have forwarded copies of your recipes to each of them just to let them know that it's OK to partake in the pet food diet.

I found this site in a magazine. i think you are a little stranger than most, but, y'know, us criminally insane people have to stick together, y'know? I'm from the UK and, seems as I have signed your guestbook, why don't you sign mine? SIGN IT OR DIE. thank you.

Just the other day we found by cat's stash of "food". It was outside behind our shed. It included four birds, two mice and one fish head.

Subject: "26 Toes!"
One Of our cats, Tootsie, has 26 toes. 2 extra thumbs on each of her forepaws and 1 extra thumb on each of her hindpaws. That is true. Her brothers and sisters and relations all have extra digits. It's called being "polydactile" and it is genetic. Cool or what?
